Pikachu cosplay: Ears and Tail

Well, for WAi-Con this year, I'm cosplaying Pikachu Gijinka as part of a Super Smash Brothers Brawl group. This is what I've done so far, because they're the main parts of recognising the cute little pokemon.

The beanie was the hardest to do for me, especially sewing in the ears. Tutorial from
As you can see the tail is not quite finished as I have to attach it to my shorts that I'll be wearing.
EDIT The way I attached the tail is by using wiring inside of the tail to keep the shape and stiff. I then, attached the tail onto an old waist-belt, looping some extra wiring coming out of the tail onto the belt then sewing the loose fabric of the tail on. The I simply put the tail on like any other belt. However since I made the tail extremely big for my short to hold, it droops down a little. So make sure you resize the tail compared to your body and don't make it too heavy!

This is the first cosplay I've made without any help (coz I am really bad at measuring things) so I'm happy so far.
